Hosting is free. Advertising is a fixed annual investment at a specific local Host. Every active board supports an eligible local nonprofit.

What is a Community Board?
A physical board inside a local business. The Host uses most of it for its own customer messages; the lower band holds up to six local advertisers, one business per protected category, above a thin Community Boards footer.
What does it cost to host a board?
Nothing. There is no purchase cost to become a Host. Community Boards manages the advertising program, and Hosts can earn Host Participation Revenue from active advertisers. Details are on the Host page.
How does advertising work?
A local business takes one protected category position on the board inside a specific Host for a 12-month campaign, with a professional graphic included, at a fixed annual price shown on the Advertiser page.
How are local nonprofits involved?
Each active board generates a separate annual contribution to an eligible local nonprofit chosen by the Host, funded by the Community Boards network.
Is the digital marketplace live?
Not yet. Consumer discovery, business profiles, offers and engagement reporting are planned and arrive as local participation grows. The physical board provides value now.
How do I get started?
Hosts request a free board from the Host page; requests are reviewed personally. Advertisers browse current Host locations by category on the Advertiser page or join the network free to be considered for future opportunities.
